It's official. We shall be getting married on June 30th, 2012. :) Yesterday I met Jacob as he got off of work and we went down the road to the Loft and Chapel and booked their reception hall. I finally sucked it up, ignored the pricing that I was weary about and just did it, but not in the bad way where you settle. It's a very nice place and I think it will fit our style of wedding quite well. :)
Also, on Monday I went to Hobby Lobby to just look at their fake flowers and they happened to be 50% off soooo I went ahead and bought all the flowers for the bridesmaid bouquets! (I'm not quite sure what I'm doing with mine yet.) So then yesterday afternoon after we booked the reception hall Hayley and Becca helped me to spray paint the gerbera daisies with some silver glitter paint. In my opinion, they look very cool. The bouquets are going to have two white gerbera daisies, two red gerbera daisies, and five red roses in between them all. Here is just a sneak peak at the before pictures. You'll just have to attend the wedding to find out what the final product will look like. :)

Square One
Alrighty. So it has been awhile, but that is because I haven't really done much of anything since I've been working quite often recently. We researched many a reception halls and pricing and such. Then we changed our plan to just having appetizers inside a big tent as a reception so we were researching that stuff, but then we nixed that idea. So now we are back at square one again with dinner and a reception hall. Today, I went and looked at the Loft and Chapel in Waukesha (it's about a 20 minute drive from the church) and it would be a nice scene to have as a reception hall. So far I believe it is the cheapest I have found, but it would leave us with like $2,000. Jacob keeps telling me I should just let go and do it and forget about doing it with what my parents have given us, but me being the cheapo I cannot do so. So we shall see what I come across in the next couple days and hopefully we can lock in this date already! :)
Also a little disappointing. I found the perfect bridesmaid dress that I fell in love with, but of course it had no price on the website so I called all over the place and emailed people to try and find out who carried it to see how much it cost. Naturally, it would be a $170 dress that would be the "perfect" one so needless to say I'm back at square one with that one as well.
I believe that is all for now, nothing too exciting. I hope everybody had a lovely Fourth of July and God bless! :)
